I was pleasantly surprised when I opened an email yesterday. I almost deleted the email without reading it. I decided to open it when I read it came from .... @ stengg.com, guessing that it was from Singapore Technologies Engineering. I won the Tangram Game Contest organised in promoting the Asian Aerospace 2006.

I was ecstatic, to say the least. I finally made money through designing. Well, actually my first paid design was a drawing of a helicopter. A classmate of mine bought it for 20 cents back in primary school.

I stumbled upon the contest from my school email spread by one of the lecturers. So I decided to give it a try. It was an easy 'game'. You are to create a logo of sorts from given basic shapes of triangles, squares and parallelograms. While doing it, I got engrossed with it and spent a little more time than I expected. At the back of my mind, I was thinking, " I am wasting my time here. There's lots of things that I could be doing instead. It was worth every second of it.

Now..... Who should I bring along??
