Reality Check
It's Tuesday of the last week of 2 weeks term break. Term break does not describe what I am feeling right now. Yes, this is another post whining about my situation. I may be wrong but I am bogged down with the most amount of work for this term break. I am partly at fault for choosing Authoring as a an elective. Seriously, I love the class but one really has to work hard for the class. I spent the first week chilling most of the times. But I did put in time for work.
Just to show how dead I am. The list of things to be done...
- animation run cyle in colour
- 3d head modelling
- animation for children society
- photo album application in flash with report (this is hardcore)
- practise 3d animation test
- web design researh typographer (20 pages)
- web design css assignment
- i will add if i remember more...
Mana Drained
My last week of the first term of year 2. I feel so drained out that things are getting out of my control. My GPA is definitely going to suffer. It is time to step back and analyse my situation. I don't want another term of this. The good news is definitely the term break. I can really use one right now. Just need to hold on a little longer.
I need to have a clear vision of where I am heading. What I want to do after this diploma. At the rate I am going, entering a local Uni is seems very unlikely. When you look at it, top 5% of a cohort of 200 is being the best 10 out there. Then again, maybe that is not the life meant for me. Maybe there is a focus in this whole digital media design that I can be really good at. Whatever it is, I am sure the lecturers out there will be happy to help out.
Most definitely need to be closer to Allah. It will help me keep a peaceful outlook within the chaos.
losing you...
I lost my thumbdrive. Maybe for good, maybe I'll find it again someday. Alhamdulillah, I have some cash in hand to get myself a new one. So I went to Suntec to get my thumbdrive at the PC show. Actually I had wanted to get an external hard drive since my hard disc is running out of space as well. It turned out that the 250GB external HD requires a power source. I can't be attached directly to USB. Got a 1GB thumbdrive instead.
As usual, the place was packed to the max. Luckily I could move around fairly easy this time round. Didnt stay too long. Stopped by the book fair below. I think I saw my ustaz dressed in office wear.
