Tips for Painting Art on a Wall
Last night I took a leap of faith in my artistic talent. I decided to go ahead to paint my wall a picture of my mother's 'rumah kampung' (village's house). It is definitely something new, working on a much bigger space; using a new media; without much knowledge of mixing paint to form various colours.
Here are some tips I've come up with:
Pre-mix a colour that you use a lot in large amount(suffice for the whole project)
You could add tints and shades to the colour without worrying how to mix the colours again
Charcoal is easy for rough lines on the wall but proves to be a bug when it mixes with the paint when I start applying paint
Work in stages (i tried to go for the whole look before enough preparation)
I am still in the process of painting it. Here's what happened

Painted with rough sketch

Project Iftar
Things went smoothly for NYPMS. I did my part well in the distribution of the porridge. Overall it was great.
Beyond
What does it take to go beyond. To go beyond self and achieve greatness. I am having trouble again. I am not doing the best, slacking my way through the days.
Another concern is money. I am going to need more money when school reopens. Bills are ever piling up. One semester is gone. I hope to do as well or better in the future. What will it take for me to overcome my fears?
Holiday
My first week of my semester break is passing by. There was the class chalet and nothing much after that.
Ramadhan is here and I must do good with the time that I have. There are many ideas of what I can accomplsih with the time at hand but have not started to do so.
Another total waste of my life is that I have been sleeping more than usual. I hate doing that. There is so much things to be done. What a waste. So I shall get on to plan the remaining time that I have wisely.
Basic Theory
Well, I'm up early in the morning to study for my basic theory test today. My holiday has officially started from last Thursday after my 'okay' Studio Project presentation. I am glad that I have made through this far. I am looking forward the new semester.
It seems that there will be changes in the module sense. It is said that things will be more flexibility. Flexibilty is always a good thing. However, I hope this experimentational stage will not compromise us in any way.
