Stretching The Comfort Zone

2004 Review 1year after ORD

I looked forward this date a year ago. What was supposed to be freedom is as it is. But how it will turn out for me will entirely depend on me. So here is in points things I achieved for the year and my forecast for the next.

2004 Review

Job

Security guard 2 weeks
Pizza Delivery 3 months (Jan to April)
SATS screener 2 weeks
Despatch 3 days - no pay, erp
Newspaper delivery 2months - Shitty employer, cheated of $200++
Jobless for half of the year

Education

Took O levels Science, Comb. Humanities, A. Maths
Really studied only for one.
Nitec in Digital Media Design
Completed 1 module from July - November
7 more modules to go
Ngee Ann Polytechnic - Web Application Development course
Struggling but still in it

Social

Keep in touch with 3 guys (Try to get close to 1)
2 guys here and there

Religious

Did very good on Ramadhan
Average tarawih 2 times per week
Recite the Quran

Physical
Running, did a pretty good job
Need to be more regular
Record distance of 6500m

I want my life to be a great one. I am still young and there are more challenges for me to overcome. I want to make a mark in my education. To excel academically is one dream that will be realised with hard work. I am blessed with gifts from Allah. Focus is something that I need to do. I must decide what I want to do for the rest of my life by next year and work for it.

There may be financial difficulties or difficulties in other form. Generally, I am ready to make that plunge. I have to fill up every minute of my time with productive and progressive things. Asking for help is a sign of strength. I actually got this quote frome He-Man, the new cartoon series but it is one advise I must take for I have always acted otherwise. I had always thought that if I could do the job alone, might as well do it myself.

I must learn to share my difficulties with others and share even more joy.
